Erik Kramer Passing Camp: IVST Vision & Detail

Passing Camp

The Erik Kramer Passing Camp Foundation (EKPCF) delivers a two-part vision to elevate high school football players on and off the field. The first part focuses on an intensive offseason skill development camp for student-athletes aiming to play at the collegiate level.

Each year, from January through April, we deliver a comprehensive program that blends solution-focused communication, elite football instruction, and essential educational sessions. These include college compliance, NIL, and transfer portal navigation, functional training, yoga, and Pilates. Additionally, we host life skills workshops covering mental health and financial literacy—critical tools for success on and off the field.

Together, these elements form the EKPC IVST (Instructional Video Series Training), the foundation of the Erik Kramer Passing Camp experience

The Instructional Video Series (IVS)

The second part of our mission is the creation of the EKPC IVS (Instructional Video Series)—a professionally produced resource designed to unify football training across youth, flag, and high school programs nationwide. This comprehensive tool will offer a consistent, high-level approach from early development through a student athlete’s junior year of high school.

By November 2025, we will have commitments from 50 – 55 families whose sons just completed their freshman football season. These athletes will participate in three consecutive years of EKPC training. This long-term process, fully recorded and documented, will culminate in the final production of the Erik Kramer Passing Camp IVS—our legacy contribution to player development across the country.

Communication, Drills, and Schemes

We enhance coach‑athlete interactions through Solution Focused communication models created by Dr. Tim Thayne. Each of our 10 position coaches will teach a series of 10–15 progressive drills tailored to skill development.

Offensively, the camp will cover three foundational run schemes, a variety of play-action passes and screens, and key concepts from the West Coast passing game. Defensively, we’ll install a base 4-3 Over/Under scheme, featuring zone coverages 2, 3, and 4, along with man-to-man coverages 1 and 2.

Coach/Players Meetings

Every Monday evening, coaches will lead one-hour review sessions with their position groups. These meetings will focus on film from Sunday’s practice and preview upcoming installations to prepare athletes for continued growth.

 Presentations and Workshops

Over the course of 10 of the 14 camp weeks, we’ll host Tuesday or Wednesday evening presentations covering topics such as college readiness, mental health, and financial literacy. These sessions are open to both student-athletes and their families, encouraging a broader educational impact.

Recruiting Process

Our recruiting coordinator, Chase Laing, and the EKPC coaching staff have built a nationwide network of college coaches and recruiters. We will organize practice and game film with telestrations and commentary. Through calls, emails, and Zoom meetings, we will actively advocate for our athletes and match them with schools where they can thrive.
